Seven Nepalis including woman with a baby repatriated from Malaysia
KATHMANDU - On the initiation and efforts of the Kuala Lumpur-based Embassy of Nepal in Malaysia, seven Nepalis including a woman and her one-year-old son taking shelter in a camp there were rescued and repatriated.
They were unable to return home as they could not afford travel (air) tickets. Those rescued are Sujita Kumari Singh Chauhan of Itahari-8, Sunsari and her one-year-old son Simon-Kumar Singh, Sosil Kumar Sahani of Bathanaha-4, Siraha, Dipendra Bahadur Khadka of Pranamipur-6, Sarahi, Sukman Tamang of Birendranagar-8, Chitwan, Dinesh Kumar Sunuwar of Rasnalu -2, Ramechhap and Thakur Rajbanshi of Sanischare-9, Jhapa, the Embassy said in a press statement.
The Nepali Embassy in Malaysia continues its effort to reach to those Nepali citizens left stranded here and facilitate them to send back to home.
